Financial Assistance
Every woman who needs a mammogram should have the ability to receive one. Two programs exist to provide screenings for women in our community.
The Breast & Cervical Cancer Program (BCCP)
The Indiana BCCP, managed by United Health Services, receives both federal and state funds to help uninsured and underserved women gain access to screening services for the early detection of breast and cervical cancers. For eligible women, the BCCP provides:
- Clinical breast examinations
- Mammograms
- Pap tests for eligible women
- Diagnostic testing for women with abnormal screenings.
Call United Health Services at (866) 247-6446 for more information about eligibility.
Secret Sister's Society Mammogram Fund
An initiative of the Women's Task Force, the Secret Sister's Society Mammogram Fund provides mammograms to eligible women between the ages of 40 – 49. The program is managed by United Health Services. Health care providers may refer women to BCCP or they can call BCCP directly to see if they financially qualify for the program.
